I was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia. I'm married and have three beautiful children... Eva (4 years), Rose (2 years) and Clementine (4 months). We live in a house we built five years ago, which is only a few minutes walk to the beach. Prior to having children, I studied Events Management and worked in that field for a period of six years for Global wine company, Pernod Ricard. I've also studied photography and I'd like to re-visit studying Midwifery once the timing is right for my family. At the moment, I like to keep our days quite simple and my focus is on raising our three children with my husband in a loving environment.

1. WHAT DOES A WEEK NIGHT MEAL LOOK LIKE FOR YOUR FAMILY?

We enjoy simple, seasonal meals. Throughout Autumn and Winter, we enjoy creating hearty soups and opt for one-pot cooking or cook meals in the slow cooker because it's both easy and nourishing. During Spring and Summer, we mostly enjoy barbeques and varied, colourful salads. Most afternoons, when the littlest girls are asleep, Eva & I usually start preparing dinner for the family. We'll wash and prepare veggies to grill or roast in order to create wholesome meals or to toss through the likes of pasta, grains or leafy salad dishes.  Following dinner, we always finish with natural yoghurt and/or fresh fruit.Sundays we traditionally have a roast dinner but sometimes (when the day calls for it) we'll just eat bits & pieces we need to use up in the fridge which saves wastage and allows us to start a fresh new week ahead. For the small effort it takes to prepare these meals, we are rewarded ten-fold from the nourishment and general sense of belonging when we eat together as a family. As my husband and I both come from European (Italian and Latvian) backgrounds, family and food play a big part in our lives.

2. WHATS SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MUSIC TO LISTEN TO THESE DAYS?

I'm not one to strongly favour particular artists but rather a collective of songs that recall meaningful moments and connections.I do however enjoy a range of female vocalists from Nina Simone through to Florence and the Machine. When I feel like a total chill out, I listen to instrumental musicians such as Chet Baker and Yann Tiersen.

3. IF YOU HAD AN EXTRA $1000 DOLLARS, WHAT WOULD YOU SPEND IT ON?

I'd divide the money equally into my daughter's bank accounts or easily be persuaded to take a mini holiday somewhere sunny in Australia with my family.

4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE INSTAGRAM ACCCOUNT?

I'm inspired by... the creative journeys and voices of @kirstenrickert @theindigocrew and @thisbrownwren, simple matters of the heart and happiness in the home by @mamawatters and @oneclaireday and I enjoy @practisingsimplicity for weekly portraits and seasonal notes.

5. IF YOU HAD A FREE EVENING, WITHOUT CHILDREN, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

I'd take the opportunity to go on a 'date night' with my husband. We'd probably opt for something easy and satisfying, like sushi, and we'd allow some time to go for a walk along the beach where we live.

6. FAVORITE CHILDRENS CLOTHING LINE?

Nature Baby is a firm favourite with its organic, unisex and long-lasting appeal. Their garments are easy to care for and make for great hand-me-downs.I love the quality, simplicity and timeless aesthetics of both Mabo and Willaby children's clothiers. Willaby also offers the dreamiest baby blankets - we cherish ours for both the softness and snuggle qualities.

For knitwear, I adore Misha and Puff's gorgeous knitted rompers and also Babaà for their naturally made and generously sized cardigans and jumpers that are great for layering and last several seasons. Quality knitwear is an essential in my children's wardrobe, especially during the cooler months, when worn on a daily basis. Soor Ploom would be my absolute favourite children's clothing line - it has a real nostalgic quality and each and every piece takes on a story of its own with wearable designs and the prettiest of fabrics and shapes. I adore the signature Peter Pan collar and the use of cottons, linens and liberty print throughout this beautiful brand. I also think Booboos' Bonnets and Briar Handmade offer the most darling bonnets... I don't think there's much sweeter than a baby in a bonnet. It's been lovely getting to know some of the people behind these brands and it's great to see small businesses with quality and ethics as their priorities deservedly grow and evolve over time.

7. FAVORITE PLACE TO SHOP FOR YOUR CHILDREN?

Purebaby and Nature Baby for everyday basics and other essentials for both babies and children.

Printebebe is a great go-to for my daughters as they mostly wear smock-style blouses with leggings or bloomers.

Caramel Baby & Child and Smallable offer special pieces and some lovely gift ideas too.

Honeybee Toys is a wonderful online space for wooden toys and imaginary play.

I also adore handmade dolls by the talented women behind Jess Brown Design, Moose & Bird and Tiny Eyes.

8. FAVORITE CHILDRENS BOOK?

We love nursery rhymes! Our family favourite is the Peter Rabbit Nursery Rhyme Time book as it covers all the classics. I personally have a soft spot for Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes by Mem Fox. I've gifted this precious story to a few expecting friends of mine and it's a real joy to read and hold.
